Marine Sgt. Ross Gundlach formed an unbreakable bond with a Labrador retriever named Casey, a special dog who was in charge of sweeping the roads for bombs in Afghanistan. They both served more than 150 missions together while they were there and they became inseparable friends.
But after their tours ended, they were separated and assigned to other missions. The Marine did everything he could to adopt Casey, and when he traveled to plead his case before a government committee to get Casey back, he received a very special surprise. The reunion between these two old friends is simply fantastic.
