Alkaline batteries have come a long way in terms of strength and durability, but it’s still a hassle to test them. At least, for those of us who don’t have a voltmeter handy at all times. What ends up happening is perfectly good batteries find their way into the trash.
This brilliant hack makes it so simple to test those batteries before recycling them. Literally all you need is… a battery.
Seriously, who knew? Of course, some batteries have indicators on their side, but I always asked myself if a person even exists whose fingers are strong enough to operate that thing. Meanwhile, all it took is gravity!
