An 18-year-old Alabama teenager went ballistic when his mom refused to do the dirty work of attempting to patch up his relationship with his girlfriend. So to show her who was boss, Haden Smith killed a bunch of his mother’s chickens (??). Yeah, we’re kinda confused, too.
According to Al.com, Haden Smith texted his mama on Thursday morning “saying he would kill a chicken every fifteen minutes unless she contacted his girlfriend’s parents and mended his relationship with his girlfriend.”
Officers said he gave her a noon deadline until he’d start his bloody chicken-murder massacre; he reportedly also threatened to “burn [his mother’s] house down, kill any responding deputies and kill himself,” the sheriff’s office noted.
The disgruntled animal abuser killed six chickens before cops caught him — but not before he reportedly “texted his mother photos of a dead chicken every fifteen minutes.”Ugh. Issues, much?
He was arrested for third-degree domestic violence and criminal mischief.
