BISCUIT LOVER FREAKS OUT, KICKS IN GLASS DOOR OVER PRICE INCREASE AT WAFFLE HOUSE

Mitchell Harris Feinberg is a man who loves the fluffy, savory goodness of the sausage biscuits at Waffle House. Unfortunately, the cost of the beloved breakfast item has gone up in Feinberg’s local establishment.

When Feinberg ordered a sausage biscuit on his last trip to the restaurant, he was surprised to see that the cost had gone up, from the $1.00 he expected to $1.50. He reportedly told the waitress that he had only paid $1.00 before. He got mad and threw his bill on the floor.

As he walked out of the restaurant, he reportedly kicked the glass door on his way out, shattering it. Even though Feinberg told authorities that he hadn’t used enough force to break the glass, the surveillance video from the restaurant revealed otherwise.

Feinberg was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal damage to property and basic disorderly conduct. He remains in custody on $2,500 bond.

The incident was referenced on the Brookfield Police Department’s Facebook page with this missive:
“Tip of the day: When the Waffle House employee tells you the sausage biscuit is no longer $1 and the new price is $1.50 please refrain from punching the glass door open while storming out. Glass tends to shatter when met with such force and you will be swiftly taken into custody.”
