It seems like tales of twins separated at birth are much more common in movies and TV — but a recent story is blowing the internet away, and it’s 100% reality.
The story (which is perfect for a movie plot) begins in Colombia, South America. Over 20 years ago, two sets of healthy twins were born. However, one twin was accidentally switched with another. Carlos and Jorge went home from the hospital together to live in the bustling city of Bogotá. William and Wilber went home from the hospital together to live in an isolated, rural farming village.
Not only did the two sets of twins grew up experiencing life in polar opposite ways, but they also believed they each had a fraternal twin instead of an identical blood brother! Then came stunning twists, turns, and coincidences that would lead to their shocking destiny. As the boys grew older, mutual acquaintances and social media caught up with the truth. Soon, their lives were turned upside-down in the most unexpected ways.
