Back in 2018, when this fireman decided to save a distraught bird from the roof of a house where she was stuck for past three days, he had no idea that his kind gesture would be rerutned by the bird with a very colorful choice of words.

Firefighters are those unsung heroes who risk their lives every day to save other people. However, one rude parrot isn’t grateful for these heroes and made sure to point it out too.
Jessie, a yellow and blue Macaw parrot, told the fireteam that came to rescue her back in 2018 exactly what she thought of them, and with a very colorful choice of words, the haughty bird told the fireman what exactly she thought of him.
Jessie had been stuck on the roof of a house in Edmonton, North London, for around three days. Eventually, the London Fire Brigade attended the scene with the intention of getting the bird down from them, however, in return all they got in was the bird hurling not so grateful words towards her savior
This happened despite the fact that the fire volunteer bringing up a lovely bowl of food and a fluffy towel to try and coax her down, she just kept telling him to ‘f*** off’.
LFB Watch Manager Chris Swallow said: “Jessie had been on the same roof for three days and there were concerns that she may be injured which is why she hadn’t come down.
“We then discovered that she had a bit of a foul mouth and kept swearing, much to our amusement.”
As if this was not enough, after swearing at the fireman, the bird decided to fly off to another roof, into a tree, and then back to her owner.
As a matter of fact, the Fire Service has repeatedly asked for members of the public not to call them first if a pet gets stuck somewhere.
A spokesperson for the Fire Service said: “As with this incident, the RSPCA should be contacted in the first instance and we would always urge people to do the same if they see an animal stuck or in distress.
“If the RSPCA require our assistance, they will call us, and we are happy to assist with our specialist equipment.”
Of course the RSPCA are well used to dealing with animal cruelty, so it sounds like they’d be perfect to deal with a parrot that cruel.
This was a unique incident on its own, but nevertheless, it was really entertaining as the fire team themselves were left laughing after the bizarre happening.
