This footage goes out to all those who think it’s “easy” to serve our country. And it’s sure to bring you to tears.
Think you can march 12 miles? Me either. Much less wearing the standard fighting load (aka: tons of heavy equipment.) And how about completing the course in under three hours. Forget about it. There’s no way I’d make it. It’s no easy feat to earn the Army’s Expert Field Medical Badge.
But watch what happens as Captain Sarah Cudd comes close to the grueling march’s finish line. This is so incredibly moving.
The School’s Program Manager Lloyd A Manson of the U.S. Army described Sarah’s last few moments before completing the course:
“It took heart, guts, determination, falling down and getting up, and a little motivation from the crowd to get across the finish line.”
