A young fan of Quarterback Peyton Manning was tragically killed earlier this year when he was hit head-on by a drunk driver. The boy, Logan Brown, was only 15-years-old when this happened, ending his young life.
Brown’s Grandmother, Gayle Ricketts, decided to write Peyton Manning telling him of the story of what happened and how big of a fan Brown was of his.
As the family remembered Brown on his 16th Birthday, something came in the mail: it was from the Denver Broncos. The family was completely surprised when they received a written response back from Manning.
The video is heartwarming and shows that some athletes really do care and take time to lift the spirits of others.
