This 41-year-old man from Brazil who is obsessed with body modifications gets tusks fitted to his on teeth for £400 ($532).
Every now and then we come across offbeat personalities who are trying hard to stand out yet they say they are just ‘being themselves’.
One such individual is this 41-year-old tattoo artist from Brazil named Orc. He already has 80% of his body covered in tattoos, on top of a few other body modifications. However, he decided to get tusks fitted on his own teeth for £400.
Despite his unique appearance, Orc claims that he is just trying to be himself.
He is a tattoo artist from the small town of Iguatemi on the border of Paraguay and Brazil. Orc got his first piece of ink at the age of 15, and began getting body modifications when he turned 35 and his latest modification are these tusks.
He shows them off in this video.
Talking about his body modifications, he said,
I am trying to be myself, these are just my ideas, my inspirations coming from the heart. I am not inspired by anyone.”
Apart from the tattoos on his body, Orc has his eyeballs tattooed and his tongue split with eight subdermal piercings placed under the skin.
Understandably the 41-year-old receives a lot of comments about his quirky looks but insists that the majority of them are positive. He said,
“They tell me good things that motivate me to continue. Bad people exist everywhere and are always around… but they don’t shake me.”
As far as his family is concerned, he said,
“My mum doesn’t like it; my dad tolerates it and my friends find it weird.”
Nevertheless, this does not stop him from doing what he likes. He advises others to ‘live, be happy, travel, love’ and ‘do whatever they want’. Orc added, ‘Life goes by fast and death is certain’.
