SEATTLE – Popular Franchise Starbucks Coffee has been just discovered to have been actually using breast milk in an estimated 25% of their milk based products which include Lattes, Frappuccinos, Cappuccinos, Milkshakes, Coffees, etc.
“If you’ve drank at least one Starbucks product made regularly with milk within the last month, there is a 40% chance you were drinking breast milk. There’s a 40% chance in every drink” says FDA inspector Jonah Casis. If you’ve drank breast, you might have not even noticed because they weren’t making drinks entirely out of breast milk. Inspectors say they usually mixed the breast milk with regular cattle milk, only using about 25% breast milk for each drink.
The FDA is suspecting that Starbucks has been suffering from milk shortages due to the recent discovery of cancer in Cattle, which prompted for a big fraction of dairy products to be halted from production. Starbucks then apparently decided to simply use breast milk.
The FDA and USDA is currently investigating Starbucks and trying to figure out who is supplying the breast milk and where from. We will update you soon on the case.
