There is something to be said for the love between a grandparent and a grandchild. They’re the ones who are there to hold you when you can’t talk to your parents. They’re the ones who teach you patiently, and pretend to pull coins out from behind your ear. Grandparents are a special kind of blessing.
One week before Matt and Jamie Seifert’s wedding, their Grandma Pat got sick. Sadly, she was unable to make it to the ceremony and had accepted that she wouldn’t get to see them on their wedding day.
Matt and Jamie had other plans, though. Taking a break from their own wedding, they made their way over to the hospital to visit a very surprised (and happy) senior. Get the tissues ready.
